Kayla Chipongian is the Operations Specialist for Confluence Public Health Alliance. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Carroll College and a Master of Public Health from the University of New England. Her passion for public health was ignited when doing research for her bachelor’s degree and fostered while pursuing her MPH. Prior to her role at Confluence, Kayla worked in both clinical and non-clinical settings, balancing emphasis on community health and individual health. She is passionate about health equity and advocating for historically and systemically underrepresented communities. She has been at Confluence since 2022 and greatly values the opportunity to work with inspiring and dedicated public health workers across Montana. In her free time, she enjoys overcrowding her house with plants, eating good food, and traveling to visit family. Kayla lives with her partner and very spoiled cat in the beautiful Flathead Valley.
